Well, as promised, I turned UAC on to the default setting and went about my normal business. It is not as I remembered it; it does not prompt for my normal actions, just when I install things, etc.
While I am sure I could rack my brain for things I could run that would bring up the prompt, in reality, it is not that bothersome.
The only time it has come up is when I run something as administrator. The only thing I run as administrator on a regular basic is the command prompt.
