Can anyone help me find a way to install Visual Basic 6.0 on Windows 7? Visual Basic 6.0 works on Windows XP when I installed it at that OS. I had to dual boot 7 with XP just to use that particular programming language. But eventually, a conflict between 7 and XP arose which resulted to a booting problem with any of the two. So dual booting is no longer an option for me just to use VB6. I was at school earlier when a classmate of mine showed me his laptop which runs on Windows 7 and has a working Visual Basic 6 in it. I was surprised to see that VB6 works on Windows 7. Here I am at home using a desktop computer which runs on Windows 7 Ultimate but am having trouble installing VB6 in it.
Also, after using Perfect Optimizer and Registry Easy on 7, I had corrupted folders under the library folder in 'My Documents'. It seems to be a dismembered registry key resulted to this. Can anyone help me on these software issues?
