software wont install

hi all i am in hell right now, no software will install - itunes frostwire limewire microsoft office !!!!! every time i try to install a prog all it comes up with this installation package could not be opened. verify that the package exists and that you can access it, or contact the aplication vendor to verify that this is a valid windows installer package.

can someone help plz
It cant only be me with this prob.

When did this problem arise? Did you install Windows yourself, or did it come with your machine?

Hmm, maybe spyware I would try and do a spyware search and virus scan. Have you tried running the installers as a Admin? Also try shutting down the computer and restarting, if the problem persists let us know

If I were you, I would put the install problem on the back burner and give priority to making sure there are no virus on the system

Is this a clean install and you're now trying to install basic programs. Or you had it installed long time and now, it just doesn't install anything anymore?

It seems a security issue. Login as a administrator(gud if u login as the default admin) and then run the installer from there. To enable the default admin in windows 7 follow the steps below,

Open command prompt and type in,

net user administrator /active:yes

Now login as the admin and try. Once done, for security reasons, disable the admin account by,

net user administrator /active:no

Let us know the results.
