Solid Edge - Just Not Smooth

Hi,

Quick info on my setup:
q9450 @ 3.2Ghz
4gb Corsair @ 1600mhz
BFG H20C GTX 280
W7 64bit Clean Install

I cant get Solid Edge running well on my pc. Its so jerky and not smooth though I have had a slightly older version that worked fine. Thinking it was just bad software I managed to get a copy of their latest version ST3 which runs just as bad. All drivers are up to date. WHAT WRONG WITH IT ??

What Version of Windows 7 do you have as it would seem you need Windows 7 Enterprise, Ultimate or Professional (32-bit or 64-bit)?

My description is poor apologees.

I used to have a academic version which worked very well. However I lent it to another student who lost it. Now my university has provided the same version to all students and i downloaded it through them. It now runs really slow, jerky, lines are not smooth etc.

Hence I then downloaded ST3 though just now realise i cant as it wont accept old files due to the academic license they were made on. So am trying V20 again :S

I have had V20 running earlier this year on this rig running fine so dont know what it could be. I have attempted nvidia control panel tweaks but nothing really.
