Some Picture Folders Gone

Hello all,

I am having problem with "my pictures". I don't think I am going crazy. There is a folder that I copied from my digital camera not showing up in "my pictures" Any suggestions. It is not in recycle bin either.

First check if those are anyhow hidden, by enabling the hidden folders and files. If those are not there, too, try to restore a previous version by right click in my pictures> properties and previous version tab.

They may be hidden files, just check the details!

Was the folder there before and now the folder is "missing in action"?

If yes, then immediately download and run Windows Defender Offline, WDO. Link in my signature.

This can be due to a particularly nasty piece of malware which will cause still more folders to be missing.
