Could be. I would reseat your video card and check all your video cables to make sure they haven't come lose. Check the heat sink for dust accumulation and make sure the cooling fan (if it has one) is working. May also want to check your CPU heat sink and fan.

You just make sure it`s spinning and make sure there`s no dust on/in the heatsink, if there is, use compressed air to clean it out.

Well, if your video is good, and you have the latest video drivers, then your monitor could be going bad. How old is it ?
Make sure the video cable is securrly attached at both ends and the screws are tight.

Turn off the pc.
Take the video card out and connect the monitor directly to the motherboard.
See if the monitor still blinks.

Hi,
I notice the problem is with my monitor. I just replace a new monitor. However how should i adjust the screen mode so it will fit my monitor screen resolution?
Previously my monitor is rectangular shape. Now its square. The screen image does not seem fit.
Thanks

Well, I cant see anything from the first shot.
Is the correct resolution set from Screen Resolution (right click empty desktop space and it is at the bottom)? Try changing to a smaller resolution, and back to where it should be.
Also maybe a button on the monitor, try them if there are buttons.
