Some Sites Not Opening

i am using Windows7 32Bit
Firefox 3.5.5
IE8
Google Chrome


Some of the Sites are not opening [aima-ind.org]
Says "The connection has timed out"
SS Attached
neither on IE8 nor on Chrome or FF
PLz Suggest...what to do.:sarc:

Hello,

I believe that is a good clue the site is down. Try accessing the site from another machine, preferably outside of your current network.

I have to try to make that a happy face try this

Go to tools clear browsing history
Go to c drive ....properties....disc clean up.
Scan for virus.
Turn off fire wall.
Try these steps one at a time and report back. We will get you up and running in no time.

Try this from MS. Its for Vista, but should work for 7, too. Make a backup before trying any suggestions.

Guys, i done it all....

Cleaned Disc
Cleaned the History
Cleared Cache
Disabled Firewall
Disabled Antivirus Prog.[Eset]

Same Problem...

Acid lounge is not opening even that Aima-ind.org.

Ok we have to try to see if it is a host file that is blocking.

Make a back up before trying this.

Go to this file and follow instructions


You can find your Hosts file in C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc

"Open With" Notepad and remove all entries below this line:

127.0.0.1 localhost

Save the file but ensure that you use the drop-down box in Save As Type and choose All Files otherwise it will add a .txt extension. The Hosts file does not have an extension.

One of the above suggestions was to turn off A/V to see if that was blocking. You said that you did, so I asume it is not the Anti Virus

Maybe an easy attempt to solve would be to download something like FF, browser, see if that works.

dude, i think there is not something in the browser coz none of them [Chrome,Fox or IE8] is opening the site .
i need to call up ghost busters or reinstall the W7

b'coz all the other websites are open and working charm but these couple of them are troubling..

How long has this been going on? Try deleting your cookies.

Usually when that happens a host is blocking the site. If you want you can perform the test that I gave you. That will eliminate all hosts and you should be able to get into those sites. Just because of the way I am, I would suggest a back up first. I would not want you to do anything that I would not do.
