Solved Some videos converted to mkv with various apps flicker / flash

Some videos that I converted to mkv with various apps (DVDFab, Make MKV) flicker when played in Pot Player, yet not when played with VLC or Media Player Classic. The overwhelming majority of converted videos work fine when converted with those converters and played in POTPlayer. I find the resolution in PotPlayer better - the films just look cleaner when playing, so I prefer to solve the problem rather than just playing those videos in another player. Any suggestions? The audio plays just fine, btw.

To be clear, these are not illegally ripped videos but DVDs I've bought and immediately convert on the first play so the original does not get scratched and so I can watch on various mobile devices I own.

I am using Win 7 and thought it might have to do with conflicting codecs or something in the display driver(s).

I'll try the Pot Player Forum as you suggested.
