Hi guys and girls

Recently I been plagued by a really frustrating problem. Every 15-30 seconds, a program is doing something that knocks out the program I am using. It does not close it down, but it makes my loose focus from the program I am running.

i.e.

Whilst I have been writing this post it has stopped me from writing until I click in this box to continue writing. I can tell when it happens because the transparent window frame lights up but nothing else is running. I have tried to watch my task manager to see if I can notice anything happening when this annomenous program interrupts, but I cannot see anything. I have no other programs running.

Can anybody help me. I have run a full virus sweep but no virus' found.

Can we get your system specs, and network setup? My crystal ball is in being repaired.

Check event viewer to see if anything is logged there relating to the problem.

There are several ways to find what the problem is. The best is to go into event viewer (type eventvwr in search). Event viewer (local) and look for errors listed in the last day, week, etc. Then go to the windows log>application tab. Finally the windows Logs>system tabs.

You want to look for all errors (they have red in the left column ).

When you find them you want to look for critical errors that say app hang, app crash, or anything that relates to the problem.

When you find them please note the event ID, and the source codes and tell us what they are.

Also, check all your keys and make sure none of them are sticking. I have seen similar problems to this due to certain keys sticking.

Also try another keyboard if possible, see if it goes away.
