So i just got a new computer with some more muscle but now i cannot afford any of the kinda rediculously prices audio recording software out there.I do have sonar le which came with my interface but it is lacking in so many ways.

Is there any resources out there to make better use of sonar le for free?(not audacity)?

I'm using Sonar X1c Producer - the full version in my recording studio. It only cost $99 for upgrade from 8.5 version. Check with Cakewalk and see what upgrade offer they have as they do offer reduced price upgrades.

I've found any of the "LE" versions that come with hardware to be very lacking and it just really gives you an introduction to DAW software - and maybe something to record a couple of tracks with. But you can do that with the free Audacity recording software. I had a ProTools "LE" version it wasn't much either.
