Solved Sony Vaio 32 bit drivers

Hello all,
I have a buddy who's hard drive failed him so he bought a new one and ordered windows 7 32 bit OEM when his original system came with a 64 bit OS. Does anyone know where i can get his Ethernet drivers (both Wireless and LAN). Thank you all for your help in advance.

Hello Brandon, welcome to Windows Seven Forums.

You don't state where you bought your Sony so I did a search on Sony Support in the UK and the USA.

Both searches indicated your model couldn't be found so have you given us the correct model number?

The nearest match I could find was the VPCF136FM: Sony eSupport - VPCF136FM - Support

The reason you won't find any 32-bit drivers is because the operating system pre-installed is Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

That being the case, why are you asking about 32-bit drivers? I'm puzzled.

Forget the above, I've just noticed you're now using Windows 7 32-bit.

hello PLEBBY sorry for bother you again, the thing is i tried to install those drivers that you provide me but it doesnt work please can you send me the link again and show me which ones are the appropriated drivers for my laptop (all information right below) im not familiar with this , thank you so much and i hope we could fix this asap because i really need my laptop working thank you!

Hi darkmoico, very sorry for the late reply , here are the drivers for the ethernet card both Intel and Marvel unsure of which card is in your laptop could be either !! 7UPG_ETHERNET_DRIVER_INTEL_32 9.52_9.52.10.0.ZIP and 7UPG_ETHERNET_DRIVER_MARVELL_32 10.66_10.66.4.3.ZIP here are the wireless drivers for Intel

7UPG_WIRELESS_LAN_DRIVER INTEL_32_12.4S_12.4.1.11.ZIP
7UPG_WIRELESS_LAN_DRIVER_INTEL_32_12.4_12.4.1.51.ZIP
and these are for Atheros 7UPG_WIRELESS_LAN_DRIVER_ATHEROS_32 7.6_7.6.1.122.ZIP
again you will have to try each one as I am uncertain of the laptops configuration , this is the best I can do for you sorry about that

Hi darkmoico, Did you try installing the drivers in compatibility mode? http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/316-compatibility-mode.html also did you find which ones are the correct drivers? either Intel or marvel for the ethernet and Intel or Atheros for the wifi ? ,If you can find out the correct maker of the cards , I will try to find better easier to install drivers for you

Hi again darkmoico, you can down load this free app Speccy - System Information - Free Download this will tell you which cards you have, you could also use this one again free SIW - Free software downloads and software reviews - CNET Download.com this is SIW (system information for windows )
