I've had a few errors with Sony Vegas 9 so far and I've gotten this far but this one has me annoyed. I want to render my video to MP4 and I've outlined my settings which I've used in the past no problem.

When I click save, it starts rendering, then it will stop and bring up this error:

Problem Description
Application Name: Vegas Pro
Application Version: Version 9.0 (Build 563)
Problem: Unmanaged Exception (0xc0000005)
Fault Module: C:\Windows\SysWOW64\ntdll.dll
Fault Address: 0x76F471D3
Fault Offset: 0x000371D3

Fault Process Details
Process Path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony\Vegas Pro 9.0\vegas90.exe
Process Version: Version 9.0 (Build 563)
Process Description: Vegas Pro
Process Image Date: 2009-04-17 (Fri Apr 17) 08:12:56

I've run "sfc /scannow" and there are no problems and I've tried editing my rendering settings slightly such as the bitrate.

Anyone have any solution? It's taken me ages to do this project :(

Thanks

You do know that Vegas 9 is obsolete, yes? Plus you have not provided any info about your system or the type of render you are doing. The best place to post your problem is here:

Sony Creative Software - Forums - Home

Go to either the Vegas Movie Studio or Vegas Pro forum, depending on which version you have.

Note that there is an established fix for Vegas 9 on 64-bit systems that involved editing 3 codec DLL's. THis is well documented in the forums I mentioned and could easily be the fix for your problem.
