Came across this while working on my movie collection, and I will give a specific example. I have the Transporter trilogy. On my computer "Transporter" comes AFTER "Transporter 2" and "Transporter 3" (.mp4 files). I created folders with the same name and they sort in the correct order, but for my all my video files "abc" comes AFTER "abc #"

Thanks for the tip Boobah. I just named it "Transporter 1"

Still would like this to get fixed, but it's a relatively minor bug =P

... Reverse alphabetical order? Would go Transporter, Transporter 3, Transporter 2...

There was a Natural Sort Order that you could setup in Win 2000 and Win XP prior to SP2.

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\Explorer]
"NoStrCmpLogical"=dword:00000001

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Currentversion\Policies\Explorer]
"NoStrCmpLogical"=dword:00000001

It does not work in XP with SP2 or SP3, Vista or Win 7 unfortunately.

It does too work

This works for me in win xp sp3 32 bit, and win 7 sp1 64 bit.
