Hi!
I'm new here. This is my first post, sorry if I do something wrongly.
And also sorry for my english.
Can somebody tell me how can I create a sortcut to a program (e.g. Total Commander) on the desktop or in the startup folder without getting the UAC window when I start it. I tried to set it "run as admin" and everything, but it still asking me if I want the program to make changes...blablabla

The only way to do this is to turn off UAC.

I cannot belive it. There must be a way!
Now I do the following:
I put the total commander to another folder, not in the Program Files and now it doesn't ask me when I start it, but If I want to do something "dangerous" it asking every time. So that is not the real solution. But I don't give it up!
Any other idea?

I have tried this myself. I wish there was another way, but turning off UAC is the only way to do it.
