Hi I'm looking to upgrade my audio card from my onbord to a soundblaster product I would like to know if i buy this

would it work on windows 7 I'm not the kind of person who likes to buy things find out they don't work and have to ship the product back if someone could give me an answer yes or no if i should buy this for my system.

Yes that will work fine with windows 7.

It will work and sound better than on-board audio but you should know that the extreme audio is not a true x-fi card (lots of missing features compared to any other x-fi)
