Here's what I've got. My PC is hooked to my DVR on my TV. I set up the screen, no problem. Sound is a buzz, no audio. I am using an S-video cable with a RCA jack splitter to L3 input on the DVR. I can see a good picture but as I said sound is just a constant buzz. My DVR has an 80Gig drive and I would like to record streaming shows to it. With Win media I can't record anything but TV shows, no streaming content. I am using onboard sound from the MB. My PC speakers sound good but it will not transfer to the DVR. I am thinking maybe a new sound card??? Any ideas.

Hmmm...sounds like maybe a compatibility issue. Did you try updating the drivers for your current sound card?

Everything is up to date. I have the other inputs filled and all is well. It is just the input from the MB sound source that's not working. I'll buy a sound card and see what happens. I really want to get this working. Win7 has impressed me with its ease of control and performance. MS has done a good job on this one. Smooth and clean.......so far!:devil2:
