I bought Sony PC Speakers and some 900MHz Wireless Stereo Headphones so I can watch Net flex without disturbing anyone. I paid about $50 each so their mid-range. If the movie is quite I can just barely hear a little buzz but that's only about 5% of the time so I thought it might be a good idea to get a sound card instead of using the motherboards sound so what would you recommend but I don't know crap about sound cards?

I certainly would not assume that a discrete sound card would solve anything.

On-board sound is quite good.

If you insist, your choices are internal or external. Most people choose internal.

I'd avoid Creative Labs as their driver support historically is shaky.

Maybe an Asus brand.

You shouldn't have to spend over $50.

If you choose external USB, the Behringer UFO 202 works pretty well. Under $40.

But I wouldn't expect it to resolve your issue. You need to troubleshoot your buzzing.
