Sound Crashing

Hello there,

I have a major problem with my sound. It appeared after i switched from XP to 7 and i can't find anything in the error logs about it.
The usual scenario is like this: Im playing some Starcraft II/League of Legends and at the same time sitting on a voicecom like Teamspeak/Skype with friends. Everything works fine for like 10min up to 1h or so, and then suddenly without any warning the sound distorts up and gets transformed first to very high pitch and then after a while to low pitch. This transforming continues back and forth until i unplug my Headset from the USB-jack. Everyone else can hear this sound also through the voicecom. I then need to restart every program to get the sound back on.

I've tried reinstalling both the drivers for HS-1000 headset and the onboard Realtek HD Audio. No help there yet. Ive tried disabling the different devices to see if there were some conflicts, but it didn't help at all.

It seems to me that there's some problem with the headset drivers, since this never happens without them being plugged in.

Anyone got any clue what could cause this and possibly how to fix it? Help is very much appreciated!
