Sound distorted

I recently installed Win7 7600 x86 on my laptop but now i have a strange audio problem: playback is slow and highly distorted.

The laptop uses integrated Realtek AC97 audio, driver version 6.0.1.6305. But when i connect an external USB soundcard (EMU tracker pre), it has the same problem.

Update: DPC latency checker reports that device drivers are not working properly and latencies are as high as 6000 us. Haven't found the responsible device driver though.

I am also using the "EMU Tracker pre" and sounds gets sometimes distorted or stops for a bit. It is quite annoying, if you get a solution please let me know
