Can we allow Windows 7 sound events playback to overlap? If not, can this capability be added in the future? Currently, custom sounds that are long [~1-2+ seconds] are interrupted or don't play in situations where multiple sounds are triggered quickly [such as for menus]. If sound events playback can overlap, this wouldn't be a problem and we would have more choices for custom sound effects.

BTW: I wanted to assign sounds that have an echo effect to sound events but unfortunately these are amongst the longer sounds that don't work properly.

We are not Microsoft, if you want a feature, you need to contact Microsoft direct with your suggestion.

It would take some very custom programming to do what you want.
