Sound in Dream Scenes

I have installed a Dream Scenes hack in Win7 Pro. It plays WMV's and MPG's fine, with the exception of sound. There is none. Anyone know why and how to fix? The Dream Scene shows up as a device under my Volume Mixer, but moving the slider does nothing for the ears.
