Good morning.

My laptop speakers have some sort of problem with them.

When you go to play music it plays but stops half way through. If you put a portable speaker system in, or headphones it plays perfectly fine.

Could it be something to do with the sound driver?

Please fill in the "My System Specs". It helps us to try and help you.

When that happens, check the Control Panel/Hardware and Sound and finally the Sound Panel/Playback section. Check that the "Speakers" are still set as the default playback device.
