sound problem :-(

so i installed windows7 few hours ago and....no sound..ok...but i cant get it to work.There is speaker icon on bottom and red x on it and it say No audio output device is installed. I try to install Vista_Win7_R235 audio but no help. can somebody help meeee pliz )

i have...
motherboard Gigabyte 7VT600-P-RZ
Altec lansing 151i 5.1 speakers system

on XP its was all fine

Here's Gigabytes latest drivers, try installing these first.

Did you purchase this motherboard yourself, or was it part of a manufacturer's (aka: HP, Dell, Acer, etc) package?
