i am currently using windows 7, dell desktop which was bought recently last december and the audio service was working perfectly fine then. it was only after the computer has gotten virus that the sound system was not working. currently, the computer has got no virus whatsoever and is working perfectly fine, the only problem now tis the sound system.

when i tried to start the windows audio endpoint builder, i received a message that says: Windows could not start Windows Audio Endpoint Builder service on Local Computer. Error 1722: The RPC server is unavailable
when i tried to start the Windows Audio service, i received this message: Windows could not start Windows Audio service on Local Computer. Error 1068: The dependency service or group failed to start.

are there any other ways that i can start these to services?

Don't know if this will help.

Windows Audio Service depends on:
Multimedia Class Scheduler
Remore Procedure Call (RPC)
Windows Audio Endpoint Builder

Windows Audio EndPoint Builder depends on:
Plug and Play

Make sure the plug and play service is running.
