Hello,

I was wondering if a soundcard in a desktop pc would improve my microphone recording sound?
Now I just use the onboard ones but the quality is rather bad. My voice doesn't sound very clear. Background noises also have weird sounds. It's kinda hard to explain.

OP, fill in your system specs....

Otherwise, we have no idea what hardware you are using to assist in making a call in that regard. :geek:

msinfo32.exe from run box, and/or cpu-z from cpuid.com can assist in the details.

Some motherboards have GOOD quality sound on-board and some do not, varies greatly.
