I recently installed windows 7 with my dc7100sff

But as it seems I can't find any soundmax drivers for it

Windows 7 automatically detected it and installed some drivers, But of course this did not work

I've tried most soundmax audio solutions for windows 7 but it still does not work

Is there any solution or do I have to wait?

Hi and welcome to sevenforums

You can also use vista drivers. You just need to install them in compatibilty mode. tell us what model you have and if you are 32bit or 64 and we will see if we cant find you one.

My problems with Soundmax under Windows 7 continue also--I suppose--I have chosen to ignore it. Control panel says I have Soundmax HD onboard integrated driver 6.10.1.6520. However under the show icons button, the Soundmax is "X" out and says no Soundmax present therefore Soundmax control panel disabled. I couldn't really care as there is a control panel for the soundmax I have when I go to sound properties in the system control panel--even have the test tones for all speakers. Weird thing is soundmax is also listed separately in control panel and of course is not clickable.

Strange things going on with sound under windows 7. But I am satisfied with the 5.1 I'm getting.

I know when I tried to install my ASUS motherboard's drivers after the w7 installation, I found the disc to be incompatible. However as I recall 7 "updated" a bunch of drivers. I can't remember whether soundmax was one of them--or whether I went and got something and installed it....

Anyway I dont have the crackly, static issue going on that a lot of users are reporting..
