I down loaded SP1 and when the computer rebooted it had an error it was stuck on vault.dll please help. I have already tried startup repair and the disc.

Vault.dll belongs to Comodo. simply boot into safe mode and re-install Comodo.

From what I can see Comodo does have a file by the same name though. When if freezes on that file, does it indicate at all which or where it is?

Dogz when you did the startup repair, did you try running System Restore to the point before installing SP1?

Yes, it was a leaked RTM or Releast To Market. It works just fine, I have installed on my system and it runs better than before.

Unfortunately the sp1 update point was the only point I could do it
