speaker icon

hi guys
when i put the pointer over the speaker icon on my taskbar to adjust the volume mixer its not opening up onto the screen and i am unable to lower the volume,the rest of the task bar is ok.
thanks in advance for any replies

Hello Nester, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Will it open the volume level if you click on it, or right click on it and click on "Open Volume Mixer"?

If not, restart the computer to see if may afterwards.
