Speakers not showing up

I recently purchased iSound Ice Speakers. They are USB speakers, and also work on Apple products. I want to watch a video on Youtube, and I want it to be louder, but when I plug in the speakers, they don't work.
They don't show up under Control Panel> Sounds, even when I right click "Show disabled and disconnected devices". They do however light up when I plug them in.

Are there any drivers that need installing? Sounds like it needs them.

As crazy as this sounds you can try booting with them hooked up. The Mfgr's. site doesn't show any need for drivers. What is showing up in playback devices as you may have to check them as default playback device as I do when using headphones.

Are you sure they're USB speakers?

According to specifications on the link below they appear to use a 3.5mm audio jack for sound processing, and merely charge up from a USB cable.
