Specifying restricted access for remote users

Hi,

I want to allow a remote user to access my windows 7 machine, but need to heavily restrict the session.

The catch is that want to allow the remote user to have online access to my company VPN. Therefore I don’t want any undesirable internet activity undertaken. Similarly I don’t want any confidential files accessed.

Therefore my proposed solution is to only allow remote user access for a single folder and a single website. Is this the best choice? Can this be done? If so, how?

I can setup another dedicated Windows 7 user account, just for remote access, if required.

I would set up another "standard" non admin user account for this then set the VPN up on that account. This should limit access to your files and will severely limit what they can do on that machine.
