Speech Recognition won't start

Hi,

The integrated speech recognition in Win 7 does not start after pressing the button to Start Speech Recognition in the Control Panel. It has worked a while back but now when I tried to use it today it acted like it is not even installed (displaying no error, simply not starting)

Hi Mat,

*Have you a System Restore spot PRIOR to this issue starting that you can roll back to?

*Did you check in Event Viewer for any error messages?

Thanks a lot for the help,

I have checked the event viewer and found three errors in the past 24h
- Smart menu
- Dhcp-Client
- Service Control Manager

A system restore is not possible since i do not know when this problem started exactly and is not the ideal idea for my current situation.
