Speech To Txt

I found a very cool small .net program that uses anna from the computer to read anything on the screen. I was wondering if there is another .net program that does the reverse and plays files and gets the txt out of them. I assume this could be done because there is a built in speech recognition engine in windows 7

Do you mean a program like 'Terminal' for Mac's?
