I used to have a utility to delete the index.dat files. It was called spider bite.exe.
I don't have it any longer. I did a search but can't find it. Does anyone know where I can go to get it? Or is there any other way to get rid of the index.dat files?
Thanks

ccleaner will handle this for you (you have to tell it to but it's one of the things it covers)
DON'T use the registry cleaner that comes with it, only the file one.
Registry cleaners and windows 7 just don't really seem to agree with each other.
