How do you have your dual boot set up?

A snippit of the administrative command prompt window after typing "bcdedit" (without quotes) might help.

There are couple of things different from my install. I am not saying they are wrong, I just do not know why they would be there. You should probably wait for someone else to look at this before you try changing anything. Both my Win 7 and Vista installs are 32 bit.

You show {default} instead of {current} This is really a number and you can see it using another command "bcdedit /v". Why Win 7 would use it, I do not know.

for recoverysequence, I show a number
for recoveryenabled, I show Yes
I do not show these entries:
detecthal
sos

The problem might also be related to going to a x64 version of software. When I was dual booting Win 7 32 and Win 7 64, I got the Vista loading screen instead of the Win 7 loading screen.

This has something to do with your graphics. It not enough graphics power or the screen resolution. I can't remember witch. That should get you on the right track. I have an older laptop that does the same thing. I believe it's because your graphics does not have enough dedicated memory. If theres a way to increase the dedicated memory in your BIOS...you could try that.

This may work for you however....I don't think it's your problem but it may be worth a shot.
