SSD Installation Help

I am installing my SSD tonight. I was ready for any problems, I thought, just not the one that happened. == I put the SSD in the bay, connected the Sata and Power cables and was going to reboot. When I turned on the PC, it only runs. No post and nothing on the screen. The video card seems to be in the slot OK. I am guessing that I unplugged something when I was putting the SSD in, I just can't figure out what. Any help as to what might cause a blank screen would be appreciated. Thanks,

I have tried unplugging the power cord of the SSD and no change. == I had installed a SATA card a while back to get a third SATA connection. The card is OK as I had booted from it with no problem. The card should not be a problem now as only a blank SSD is hooked up to it.

You should have the ability to get into bios or the bios screen to show.

I have never used a PCI card for Sata ports so totally at a loss for what is needed for that.

You could leave the spinner with Windows that you want to migrate the OS from plugged in. Unplug the other spinner.
Plug in the SSD into the newly empty Sata port and install/migrate Windows.
At least that gets the SSD working.

Then switch it over to the PCI card. You will need someone besides me for that.

I'm lost otherwise unless a wire was partially dislodged on the moboard. :(
Or the video or PCI card was dislodged.

You still would have bios access I would think if a card was dislodged not making good contact.
