Hi got new system and desided on a ssd for Operating System. Its fast and love it. My problem is..as a family we have to log in under our own accounts. Now I hav ea 1tb hdd for games, pictures and documents etc. It easy installing games, just select drive E instead of C. When I want to store other things, they are all on drive E as a bunch. Is there a way to store our pictures seperately? It seasy for me but the wife just saves things in documents etc. I could partision my hdd, but dont want to confuce wife. Much easier just clicking RUN ans SAVE instead of SAVE AS E etc. Hope I make sence:)

I installed another smaller drive. Redirected My Doc, My Pics and My vids, All my files to drive E and wifes to drive F. Still, when I install a lot of programs. there no where to alter the destination. Having problems with Steam games. I ended up deleting aver Steam game and steam. Then installing on hdd instead of ssd. Some games still wont work. The load the beginning, then freeze. What drivers have I missed??or software

Steam s easy to move, Copy it to where you want it, then delete all folders except steam.exe (application) and steam apps. Start Steam up. It will take about 5-10 minutes and steam will update and reinstall itself. You'll have to sign in to your account and they will send tou an email with a code, put the code in and you wiill be good to go.

As far as the user folders, set them up on a drive exactly like they are on the C Drive. A folder named Users, inside that a folder for each account using the account name. Inside each folder move the folder, using the tutorial given by TVeblen. So, You will have users -yourusername and inside that My Documents, my pictures my music ect. And you will have the same thing for each user. They will appear in explorer under the corresponding heading and when you save something to Downloads, it will be on your other drive, not on C drive.
