Ssd upgrade

I have western digital 160 gb 5400 rpm laptop hard disk drive. Can I upgrade it to ssd drive of 128 gb size?

Yes, assuming your current drive is an SATA drive, rather than an IDE drive. If you go to Device Manager and find the model number of your hard drive, a quick google search will tell you which interface it uses.
