SSL_connect error 10054

Very frequently when I try to use email (WLM) I get the following message: SSL_connect error 10054. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Thanks. :(

What ISP mail are you trying to connect to that needs SSL???? yahoo,live, etc dont

THe message says the SSL can't connect with the POP server. I used Ireland On Line. I'm not sure if I've answered your question!
