I discovered this browser recently, while looking for good replacements for Office: SSuite Netsurfer. It's part of a suite of tools which include office, email and a browser. The browser comes in a basic edition which actually works on Vista. That's how I discovered it. The browser and office apps work very well on Vista, very fast. I did not try out the email as I use a web-based email.
It's based on Edge, but is very privacy-focused. Apparently they designed it to be immune to Google tracking. Since it works well on Vista, I have no doubt it would work on Windows 7.
