I am running Windows 7 64bit, 32GB Ram, Dual 10 core processors.
All accounts on the box will randomly get locked out. This lockout is occurring "at least on the surface" with no repeated log-on attempts or no repeated bad password entries. Simply press a keyboard or move the mouse to unlock the system, enter password and it says account is locked out. I attempt to switch users and it says that account is locked out also. Every user and Admin account on the box is locked.
This behavior is randomly happening. I have not been able to duplicate the problem.
Password complexity is enabled and it has a file the password is measured against
Number of bad retries attempted is set at 3
An administrator must unlocked the account once it is locked.
Again, this box is not a part of a Domain, thus no domain controller is controlling the user account.
