Stargate Universe - Ep 9 -- Sorry but that's IT for me

Hi all
as a person who loved Stargate 1 and Stargate Atlantis I have been very disappointed with Stargate Universe

I stuck with it hoping it would improve - but currently it's as Dull as Ditchwater - and really who needs Lesbians in a SC Fi show -- sex has its place etc and what people do in bed is their own business - Sci Fi could even have races with 3 or more sexes for all I care but the essence of Sci Fi IS to have geekiness rather than all this contemporary "life styles".

They should stick to the ship... Throw in escaped prisoners, robots, the ori, etc and you'll keep us watching.. for now I'm gone.

Not that i have anything against them just that stargate is supposed to be about wormholes.. blowing up sun's etc.... Not pointless drama with lesbians we don't even know.. or even care about.

TBH, ive only seen the first 4 episodes so i cant really comment past this....but i did enjoy those 4.

Mass effect was popular in that if you played as a Female character you could get a lesbian "sex" scene. It was a very popular little addition...

I do too. I hope they do more.

But the same-sex relationship aspect of his characters felt like it was R.T Davies intentionally making a statement by 'pushing the boundaries'.

I just like my sci-fi to be sci-fi - not a platform to address modern issues.
