Start Bar doesnt change

i think i did something to stuff up the visual styles and now its like this now can i fix it

Ahh, have you tried to change the theme to an Aero or Basic theme?

yes i have its still the same

Try opening a command prompt, and type: SFC /scannow

You may have a corruption issue with some system files.

i've tryed that and then repatched uxtheme but still no change

Run SFC again, but don't patch the visual files, and use one of the default themes.
