Start button orb change larger dpi??

I have been attempting to change my start button orb and have not been having much luck. I can get the orb to change just fine, and the mouse over affects work great until I am in the higher dpi.

Since I am on a laptop, I have to use the 125% to be able to see everything. @100% my desktop is unreadable.

When I change the orb, the mouseover affects work just fine @100%, but at 125 they do not work at all. I have tried both methods of changing the start button orb. The software method and the manual method.


Does the .bmp size have to be different for the larger DPI start button orbs? I notice in the resource editor, that the standard windows orb .bmp are actually bigger as you raise the dpi. Does this affect whether or not the mouseover affects work? I am confused.

Nevermind... I read the tutorial on creating the orb and got my answer.. I changed the dpi of the orb and it worked! Sorry for not looking prior to posting the questions.
