Same problem here, they've dissappeared. When I try that fix you all recommend I can turn it off (supposedly) but when I then restart it's automatically ticked on again.
So I can't turn it on again then cos it's allready on.
Any suggestions?

Hello Zukied, and welcome to Seven Forums.

You can try a repair install without losing anything to fix it.

Hope this helps,
Shawn

Using Tiny7 Ultimate-

I've tried all of these things and some more....
Apparently it didn't work.
Windows Search only has appeared a few times during the first few times of installations of the Tiny7 but after 1-3 days its suddenly gone again.
-Windows Features "Search" was checked and unchecking it wouldn't even work. Restarting makes it still checked
- F3 and "Windows Key"+F Both gives some random error like Class not registered or something
- When installing the OS and having the Windows Search for the first 3 days, the program everyone talks about called "Windows Search" wasn't in the "Programs and Features."

I've done a lot of research but no help is found....

Hi, I'm also Tiny's windows 7 user

I'm loosing the start menu search box only after installing MS Office by clicking "Install Now" button.

The only solution to keep the search box is to install Office programs only (without OS Office tools and shared futures)

PS sorry for my english
