Start menu expanded link transparency issue

I apologize if this issue has been resolved on this site already. I did a perfunctory search for my problem but found no results.

When I go to start and highlight over a link (ex. Administrative Tools, Control Panel, etc.) the resulting expanded list is completely transparent and blended into the desktop background. I'm not explaining adequately but i'll include a picture.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Someone else posted about this issue here: http://www.sevenforums.com/general-discussion/64661-menu-help-please-2.html -- there doesn't appear to be a solution yet, but hopefully it helps to know this isn't an isolated issue.

Thanks for letting me know! I'll stay tuned. Hopefully it's addressed in a service pack or something.
