Solved Start menu issue

Hello Seven Community, I am in need of help again,

So the other day avg detected a trojan so I chose for avg to delete it and it said something about the registry and other files being deleted as well as the trojan but ever since that has happened this happens every time I try to start a program from the start menu and I mean any where from it.

so what I have been doing for today is browsing and finding the individual exe's and then after that they will run from it, I am not sure if there is a quick fix to this because I don't feel like browsing for each one.

Help would be appreciated thank you very much seven community!

It may be the association for shortcuts that got messed up. Downloading and merging the lnk (LNK) option in the tutorial below may be able to help fix this for you.
