Start Menu Question Please.

Hi All.

Hopefully a silly question this.

I have been running 7 now for a couple of months, and generally like it a lot.
One small thing did strike me as odd though.

Coming from XP, the list of programs in the left pane of the start menu, used to continually update with the most recent applications launched.

With 7, it still has the same list as the day I first started it.

Does that list no longer self update ?
Have I switched something off, or is it the way it behaves in 7 ?

Right click on taskbar, click on properties . The taskbar and start menu property will appear. Click on start menu tab. In privacy box, make it sure that both the items are checked. So your Start menu and jumplists should be automatically updated

Nice tip.... didn't know that existed in Windows 7!
