hi guys im having a little problem my start button its lagging??? every time i click on start button it takes like 2 seconds to opern why is this happining???

not really solution to problem rather a bypass ^^

use start killer to hide start button & use windows key to open start menu...

mmm... if your using a tool to maybe use a custom button... then maybe ^^ I'm using Start Menu.exe & it does a lil circle spin (split sec) before opening start menu... trade off for custom image and placing it anywhere on my taskbar I like

im just using the standard window 7 startbutton but just these 5 days the start buttorn laggs for 1 sec??? just when i click on start buttorn it laggs for a sec then operns.

Something on your system is using system resources. Does it only happen shortly after booting, or does it happen all the time? It could be downloading updates, or scanning, defraging, etc. Ctrl/shift/esc and look at the processes running. Specifically, keep an eye on the CPU usage. This will give you a good idea of what processes are hogging resources.
