hi, there
----

my laptop has 2 O.S. ( XP & 7)
XP IS INSTILLD FIRST
----------
IN WIN 7 ..I WAS HAD ( ACRONIS DISK DIRECTOR) AND I REMOVE IT BY THE FOLLOWING STEPS:

Solution

(!) If you have other Acronis products installed , the utility will remove them as well.

  1. Download Acronis Disk Director 11 Home Cleanup Utility, unpack and run it:
  2. If asked to remove Acronis True Image Backup Archive Explorer manually, type 2 to proceed with the uninstallation:
  3. Please choose to delete all Acronis products from the system - type Y and hit
I type "Y"

Enter:

  1. If you receive a WinZip message, just click Close
  2. :
  3. You will be asked to close Windows Explorer instances since this is necessary to remove the tishell.dll and timounter.dll Acronis files, which interact with explorer.exe - type Y and hit Enter:
  1. You will be also asked to reboot the system to complete the uninstallation. You can reboot the system later:
(!) After using Cleanup Utility, it is strongly recommended not to reboot the machine, go to Start -> Run -> regedit, and verify that there are no snapman*, tdrpman*, timounter strings in the following keys:

  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\{4D36E967-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} -> UpperFilters and LowerFilters
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\{71A27CDD-812A-11D0-BEC7-08002BE2092F} -> UpperFilters and LowerFilters
If there are, please remove them. Then you can reboot the machine
AND EITHER I DELETE THE TWO REGESTRY VALUES WRITTEN IN RED COLOUR..

AND AFTER RESTART LAPTOP..THE STARTUP IN WIN 7 DIDNOT WORK,

I TRY MAKING REPAIRING USING WIN7 CD, BUT WITHOUT ANY BENIFIT..

I TRY TO ENTER SAFEMODE TO MAKE recovery . BUT THE SYSTEM CANNOT STARTING UP from safemood

I TRY TO MAKE REPAIRING BY USING F8, I CAN ENTER , BUT THE REPAIRING CANNOT GIVE ANY PROGRESS, AND SAY :

root cause found:

unspecified changes to system configuration might have caused the proplem
repair action:

system files integrity check and repair>

result failed:
errors code= 0×490

----------------
then i use from win xp the command prompt
and typed:

chkdsk D: /f

and, this is the result:

787296797.jpg
----------------

then i made restart to XP.AND STARTUP TO WIN 7 TO SEE THE RESULT

BUT, NO ANY HAPPY RESULTS:cry:

THEN I MADE searshing in this site, i found in this link
AN OPERATION NAMED; automatic Windows backups to restore your registry

http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/139576-startup-repair-infinite-loop-recovery.html

AND, I FOLLOW THE SAME STEPS:

Recovering Your System
  1. Turn on your computer, and repeatedly tap the F8 key until you see the Advanced Boot Options menu.
    • If Windows automatically opens Startup Repair, and subsequently fails to fix a problem, you can skip ahead to step 8 below.
  2. Select Repair Your Computer:
  3. Wait for the Windows is loading files... screen to finish:
  4. Select the desired keyboard input method, and click Next:
  5. If prompted, enter the login details of an adminstrator account, and click OK:
  6. In the System Recovery Options screen, click Startup Repair:
  7. Windows will search for an attempt to repair startup problems:
  8. If startup problems could not be repaired, you will receive the message Windows cannot repair this computer automatically. Click View advanced options for system recovery and support:
  9. Click View advanced options for system recovery and support, which which bring you back to the main System Recovery Options screen.
  10. Click Command Prompt:
  11. Command Prompt should open to X:, which is an internal ram disk use by System Repair:
  12. Now you need to find your system drive. Depending on how your system is setup, this could be either C: or D:.
    • Type C: and press <ENTER>.
    • Verify that this is your system drive by typing DIR and pressing <ENTER>. If you see the Program Files, Users and Windows folders, then you have found your system drive, and can continue to step 13 below.
    • If the drive is not your system drive, repeat steps I and II above, changing the drive letter to D, E or some other letter until the system drive is located.
  13. When you have located your Windows system drive, type CD \windows\system32\config and press <ENTER>:
  14. Type DIR and press <ENTER>, and verify that the following files and folders exist in the config folder:
    • RegBack (which is a folder)
    • DEFAULT
    • SAM
    • SECURITY
    • SOFTWARE
    • SYSTEM
  15. Type MD mybackup and press <ENTER> to create a backup folder that you can use incase this procedure does not work as expected.
  16. Type copy *.* mybackup and press <ENTER>.
    • If you are prompted to overwrite existing files, press A to allow all backups to be overwritten.
  17. Now you need to check if you can use the automatic Windows backups to restore your registry:
    • Type CD RegBack and press <ENTER> to go to the RegBack folder.
    • Type DIR and press <ENTER> to view the contents of the folder. All the following files must exist:
      • The DEFAULT, SAM and SECURITY files should each be about 262,000 bytes in size.
      • The SOFTWARE file should be about 26,000,000 bytes.
      • The SYSTEM file should be about 9,900,000 bytes.
      • The file sizes presented here are approximate estimations, and may vary depending on your system. If any one of them are 0 bytes, then you should stop what you're doing now and seek an alternative method of recovering your system, because Windows cannot function with a 0-byte size registry hive.
    • If the hive files listed in RegBack are ok, then proceed to step 18 of the tutorial.
  18. Type copy *.* .. and press <ENTER> to copy the backup hive files to \Windows\System32\config.
    • If you are prompted to overwrite existing files, press A to allow all file to be overwritten.
  19. Type exit and press <ENTER> to close the command prompt.
  20. Click the Restart button to reboot your computer. If all goes well, your system will boot normally.

--------------
THIS OPERATION NAME IS; automatic Windows backups to restore your registry

WHEN I REACH STEO NO. 18, I FOUND NO ZERO NUMBERS FOR THE FILES
DEFAULT, SAM and SECURITY,SOFTWARE ,SYSTEM files

SO I EXIT FROM THIS PROCESS WITHOUT ANY RESULT

----------------

NOW, WHAT CAN I DO TO BACKUP MY WIN 7 SYSTEM??
I DONOT WANT LOSING OF MY FILES OR PROGRAMS..
