I have an IBM/Lenovo T400 ThinkPad running Windows 7 64bit.
After starting it up today, goes right into Startup Repair and it can't fix the problem. Can only report it to microsoft.
The first time I did view details: It said 2 files were corrupt:
DZHDD64.sys and NTOSKRNL.EXE
Now everytime I reboot it still runs Startup Repair, but it does not list anything as corrupt.
I have ran chkdsk, nothing. I can't boot into safe mode, goes right to Startup Repair.
I can't boot from install DVD because this was a network load provided by my work. There is no physical media. I can't do system restore as there are no restore points.
Memory tests and hard drive tests run without error.
Is there anyway to enable the system to take a dump? It lets me access a command prompt.
Or can I download those 2 files and replace what I have?
I wish it would just BSOD as I would have more to go by.
Any help would be appreciated.
EDIT: addl info:
When I send the data to Microsoft, these are the files it sends, which I looked over but don't see anything alarming... I couldn't read the ETL file as it is not plain text.
c\windows\system32\logfiles\srt\
srttrail.txt
disklayout.txt
bcdinfo.txt
bootstat.dat
bootfailure.txt
x\windows\temp\startuprepair.etl
Also, here is the problem details I manually copied:
